U.S. Arsenal Powder Magazine

State Capitol Complex

In 1931-1932, most of the military buildings were razed for the construction of the new state capitol, including the second and fourth Powder Magazines and the post cemetery. Today only the Pentagon Barracks group, which houses state offices, and the 1838 Powder Magazine survive.
